Below are some common answers to questions you may have about your CTC Hosted solution. More solutions will be added as needed.

Q. How do I setup another folder in Outlook so I can move the [Probable Spam] items out of my Inbox?
A. A rule needs to be created to move these automatically as they come in. A detailed explanation is here.

Q. I'm having an issue getting my CTC Hosted email, What's wrong?
A. The first thing to check is that you have Internet access. Also, make sure that your settings for your mail server are pointing to the correct servers. Your SMTP server setting should be set to smtp.yourdomain.com and the POP3 server setting should be set to pop3.yourdomain.com, where yourdomain.com is your normal domain name. One other thing to note, you will not be able to send mail through our servers without authenticating. This setting is typically a check box in your email program, and should be set the same as your username and password.

Q. I can't login to the application portal, why is this happening all of the sudden?
A. The first thing to check is that you have Internet access. Check the date and time on your computer. Make sure the date is correct. This seems simple, but if this is off by a year or two, this will make the SSL Certificate invalid and you won't be able to login. Make sure you're entering the correct username and password. Make sure you have the Citrix Client installed correctly on your computer. If you've accessed the application portal before, and it simply isn't working now, sometimes new software installed on your computer could interfere with the Citrix Client. You may want to try uninstalling the Citrix Client software, rebooting your computer, then installing the software again. You can download the software from our downloads page. If you're using a 3rd party printing solution, such as UniPrint, or ThinPrint, and you uninstall the Citrix Client software, you'll need to uninstall and reinstall the 3rd party printing software as well.

Q. How do I install the Citrix and UniPrint Client software?
A. Installing this software couldn't be easier. Simply follow this link to our downloads page. Depending on whether you can download via FTP or HTTP, choose one or the other and download the Citrix Client. Once that is completed, download the UniPrint Client. Locate the Citrix Client you just downloaded and double-click it. This will start the installation process. Choose ALL the default options by simply choosing next on all the screens. Once this is installed, if you are prompted to reboot your computer, please do so. You are now ready to install the UniPrint Client. This client comes in a .zip format and must be extracted first. You can use any of the popular programs to unzip this file, or if you have Windows XP, you can right-click on the file and choose Extract. Once you extract all the files, you can open the folder the files are in. You will want to double-click the UniPrintClient.exe file (the icon looks like a little printer). Again, choose all the default options. Once this is completed, you are now ready to access our application portal.

Q. How do I check my CTC Hosted email remotely via a web browser?
A. To check your CTC Hosted email via a web browser, simply point it to http://webmail.yourdomain.com, where yourdomain.com is the name of your domain. This will take you to a login page where you'll enter your full email address and password. Once you login, you'll have access to any email that hasn't been removed from our servers via POP3. You can send/receive email normally via this web interface.
